-----------------------------
My mother, the grandaughter of Sylvanus Everett Huber, noted to me in 2001
that said Huber settled in Wheatfield, Jasper County, Indiana, after a
failed trip west in which many hardships were encountered and a son was
lost. Sylvanus Everett Huber was the son of Levi Huber who died in Owen
County in 1899. Amos Neier, the son of Samuel and Margaret (Fertig) Neier
of Owen and Putname counties, Indiana, was the brother of said Huber's
wife, Louisa.
If anyone is descended from the Hubers or Neiers, I would like to exchange
information.
