Hi Vickie,
Good luck in your researching at Spencer. It is a neat little town. I hope you find a
lot of useful info to help you .
I have the 1850 and 1860 Owen Co. census's if you need any lookups before you go.
Blessings and happy huntin',
Carol Lindamood

I am coming from Columbus Ohio. Researching surnames WHITE/PRICE. I am the one that just
found my grandmother's (Maude White) birth family. She was made ward of Owen CO in
1899. Have found her father Delany White married 3 times. The last being Sarah Ollie
PRICE. (My ggrandmother) Then he just vanishes. Sarah marries again and Maude and her
sister Sadie were made wards of Owen Co. One neat thing I found is my ggrandfather FISHER
and ggrandfather WHITE (man that sound strange)! were both age 16 and fought together in
the Civil War. My FISHER side is from White Co. And Delany mustered out of Spencer.
