Hi JoAnn: I looked in 'The Trek of the Hubers Across the United States' by
Melba (Huber) Haltom;
Page 149:
William Jacob Huber, b. August 7, 1867 and d. Nov. 2, 1942. m: Eliza Criss,
July 3, 1890 in Owen Co., IN. They moved to Illinois, too, because they are
buried in the Murdock, Ill. Cemetery where so many of SAMUEL ELIJA's family
are buried.

SAMUEL ELIJAH HUBER, b. Mar. 23, 1864 at Patricksburg. d. Oct. 12, 1928.
Buried in the Murdock, Illinois Cemetery.
m: Mary Belle Nichols of Jordan on March 14, 1888 at Bowling Green, Clay Co.
Indiana Signed by Rev. J.T. Brandenburg, pastor of the United Brethren
Church. b. March 9, 1868. d. Oct. 10, 1940. SAMUEL and his wife lived near
Poland, Indiana for about 10 years, then moved to Murdock, Illinois between
1896 and 1898 with their children, then about 1912 they moved to Tuscola.
Later they moved to Newman, Ill. where he was elected sheriff, possibly 1915
to 1920. He had a pair of 410 pistols that he wore and Harold Huber had them
as long as he lived.
