Yes. I am on ancestry. The Hauser info would be under the Weatherly family tree.

I think I have all the Whites, have them back before the Mayflower. And have Grandville White's wife back to Mayflower also. The ones I can't find anything on is Clawson's. I think Spencer was Robert Spencer Clawson. But not sure. Thanks for your help.

Jim Hauser. Sent this from the wrong e-mail so I messed things up there. SPCF is kind of cryptic. I descend from John Sanford & Deborah Reynolds Hauser of Owen Co. Born in Clay County but now in Texas.

January 15 is Date Set for Consideration
Bids for the paving of a total of fifteen miles in Monroe and Owen counties
on State Road 46 from Bloomington to McCormick Creek Canyon State Park near
Spencer will be opened January 15, th Indiana State Highway Commission has
announced.
This project will be a part of 51 (illegible) of paving and 13 miles of

announced.
Contractors awarded this work will be asked to begin operations as early as
the weather will permit in order to aid Gov. Harry G. (Illegible) committee

For several years I have been working on William Hancock and Sarah Harding, and William Hancock and Sarah Asher and their descendants. I have quite a lot of information on Harding, but not as much on Netherton. My big brick wall is the parentage of the William who married Sarah Harding. Any hints would be most welcome.

LMBO! These flawless records include records dating back to the Great Flood
of course so the lineage is correct all the way back to Adam and Eve...while
all things are possible, I just have to remain a bit skeptical when a line
is supposedly checked and verified beyond the Dark Ages...perhaps I am
jealous because so many of the lines I have been tracing for years run in to
problems like records being completely destroyed in courthouse fires due to
wars and/or some sort of natural calamity! Not to mention the fact that so
many birth, death, marrriage, divorce and census records seem to be science
fiction when places against the actual facts....
Family history research! Gotta love it! Rejoice in the blanks that can be
correctly filled in but always check, check, check and recheck information
that is online, no matter how reputable the source claims to be. Records
are only as reliable as the folks providing, recording and later
transcribing the information at the time of the occurrence(s).

The real thing that gets me is not the cost or the ease.
It is the fact that each and every person that they look-up is ALWAYS listed

None of the data found is ever in error..

Sumpter, Loving, Case, Rollins 1820-1860
Isom Sumpter and his wife Susanna Loving came to Owen Co (Monroe first) in
1820. Susanna had been married twice before 1) to Michael Holt and 2) to
Rollings/Rawlings. I believe her children from those marriages came to Owen
County with her and settled there. I'd like to hear from anyone with
connections to these families. A William Loving bought land in Morgan
County in 1835 but I don't know if there is a relationship to Susanna.
Littleton Sumpter, son of Isom and Susanna married Martha Case in 1842 in
Owen County. They are children: Nancy, Mary Ellen, Henrietta and Jesse.

I am trying to find the father of Hezekiah McCormick, Hez born about 1850.
I believe his people lived in Owen County, perhaps Hudson's line. Have hit a
dead end! 3 of Hezekiah's children are buried in Chambersville Cemetery
there-John Artemus, Arvey and Harry. Could possibly have relative from
Jackson County, as I believe he's descended from John "Jock" McCormick. Hez
married Mary Curtis. Marriage document for Mary Curtis says she married Wm
McCormick. Wm or Hezekiah may have been a middle name. No birth records
online. I'm in WA state and cannot get help in Indiana.

I have some information on the descendants of one of William and Sarah
(HARDING) HANCOCK'S sons, John Benjamin HANCOCK 2 Sep 1790 - 2 Dec 1862. He
married Catherine HUMPHREYS 1 Nov 1808 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. They
had at least nine children: Fontaine Franklin, Sarah, William H., Catherine,
Ralph, Robert, Irene, Nancy and Lavina.
William H. (6 Aug 1819-7 May 1856) married Harriet ELDRIDGE, they had six
children. She died 1847. William H. then married Lucretia Mary KEGLEY on
18 Feb 1851. (Lucretia Mary was the daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth
(VANCE) KEGLEY and I am most interested in filling out the descendants of
Jonathan KEGLEY.) William H. and Lucretia Mary had at least three
children: Lawson Fontaine, William Harrison and Elizabeth.

Thanks, Debbie. I thought I was losing it. Apparently the problem is
caused by Microsoft Outlook. It removes what it thinks are extra line
spaces. There is a message at the top that you can click on to restore the
removed extra lines. If this has happened to anyone else, check to see if
the message is there for you to restore the lines and make my post readable.
