I have no idea who this might be, there really are a lot of Dunagan or
Dungan in both Owen and Fayette Counties, Eliza and Levi Huber's marriage is
verified, and they were married in Fayette County 6 Aug 1846, they had 3
children, a baby that died that I don't know when it was born, the oldest
boy was born in 1850 and the youngest was born May 1953. According to the
information I have she was born ca. 1829 and her date of death as 28 Oct
1855, but I have no verification of the dates of birth or death. So from the
information about the length of the marriage it could not be my Eliza. Sure
wish I could find information about her. Sorry I can't help you.

I found a marriage for:
Jerusha Ann Buskirk to Dlijah Dunagan 8 June 1851 Owen Co--
Then:
On the 1850 Owen census I found 2 different entries for:
J A Buskirk (female)a.18, b.abt 1832 IN w/ parents
Elijah Dunnegan a.23 cabinetmaker, no parents, no birthplace---
The age of Jerusha fits with what you have-- I couldn't find them in 1860
Owen---Does the book have any Murphys or Vaughns? Thanks, K Bargerhuff

Hi, I have an Eliza DUNAGAN in my line ---- the only information I've been
able to find about her is she married Levi Huber (the Huber family is the
one I was researching) 6 Aug 1846 in Fayette County, In. and that she died
28 Oct 1855 (I don't remember where I rec'd the death date information).
Levi and Eliza had 3 children, William Francis and sylvanus Everett ( who
was my great-grandfather) and a Baby that died. I know nothing of the
Hancock or Asher lines.

Hi Madeline: Are you familiar with 'The Trek of the Hubers' Across the
United States, written by Melba (Huber) Haltom?
She has some interesting info. on Levi Huber. She has also written a
description of Eliza (Dungan) Huber.
I don't know who Eliza (Dungan) Huber's parents were. Have looked and
looked! I know their daughter, Florence, is buried in Union Cemetery;
Fayette Co., IN. Am wondering why Eliza is not buried next to her daughter.
The HUBERs, LONGs, STRONGs and DUNGANs are all my
ancestors.
I'd be happy to share any information from Melba's book with you. Regards,

Madeline - I have checked what records I have on the Dunagan family and the only Eliza Dunagans I found were married to a Dunagan. The next time I go to the Federal Center to look up Census records on Ancestry, I will try to find her and Levi Huber.
