I sent a private e-mail, but thought I would send another copy to the
list.
I have a record of a land transaction between Archibald Allen and a
William Stone, 2 Sep. 1826. S29, T1S, R1E. 80 acres.
I have no idea if this ties into the Stone-Allen family. The land is not
in North west tnsp. But; that is hardly conclusive.
Anyone know who the Jeremiah Allen of Jackson Township was? William Allen
of Harden had a son named Jeremiah. I don't think this is him, but the
names are interesting.
How about the Danial and John Allen of 1820? Near to John is a John
Overlain. I note that William Allen of Harden county Ky had a daughter
that married a John Overlin. William's daughter Elizabeth Allen Kendall
had a brother-in-law that Married an Overlin in Nelson county Ky. ( Davis
Kendall married Mary Overlin, daughter of John and Ann, Surety William
Overlin)
William Allen of Harden county Ky and Fauqueir county Va. had the
following ( there were others; these are the verified ones)
Elizabeth, b. 1774
Elijah b. 1781
Eli born 1785 ( possibly the same as Elijah above , but ;after having
made that mistake before ( had and Elijah, Elisha, and an Eli in the same
family) I refuse to make that assumption again)
William born 1787 Ky
David born c. 1792
Abijah c. 1793
Jeremiah b. c. 1795 married Susan Smith in Hardin co. Ky.
Patsy b. c. 1796. Married Clements McDonald
Joe Kendall
