Thanks for this information.
You can also access the Indiana Marriage Records online and FREE at this
URL:
http://www.statelib.lib.in.us/www/indiana/genealogy/mirr.html
This is through the Indiana State Library. Their homepage is:
http://www.statelib.lib.in.us/
Check out all their free information under the heading "GENEALOGY".
Have fun! Jan Lund
P.S. If you want to look up Indiana land records and actually print out the
original land record for your ancestor (if one exists), check out the Bureau
of Land Management website at:
http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/default.asp
I have found many original land records for my ancestors and it's really
neat to bring the original document up and print it up to keep in your
family notebooks. I ordered a few from them but since I am a genealogist, I
don't need "certified" records and the ones I printed out are identical to
the ones I ordered. Give it a try ... I even found the "middle"name of one
of my ancestors on the document that I didn't even know before.

I also do census record lookups for the years 1870, 1880, and 1910 for
Orange Co.,
IN
and 1870, 1880, 1910, and 1920 for Martin Co., IN for those
interested.
Please specify which county you are interested in when requesting a
lookup.
For those who have a
www.familytreemaker.com subscription with access to
their
"genealogical library", you can access "records" through here and
find
Marriage records for Orange Co., IN from 1826 - 1920 available. There are
also some birth, death, and marriage records for Martin Co., Davies Co., and
others. This has been a great resource for my searches in Indiana (and
other states).
