I agree, Barbara! Everton Publisher's book "The Handy Book for
Genealogists" is a must have!
They are online under EVERTON if anybody does a search....or go to
www.Everton.com
I'm sure that will get them there. They also sell CD's with NO shipping
charges.....I thought that was great!

Mary,
In my experience you can usually just Put (County)Courthouse at the County
Seat, & it will get there.
However, here is what I have:
Martin: Martin County, PO. Box 170, Shoals, IN 47581-0170
Jackson: P.O. Box 122 Brownstown, IN 47220-0122
Crawford: P.O. Box 375 English, IN 47118-0375
Dubois: Main St., Jasper, IN 47546
Washington: County Courthouse, Salem, IN 47167-2086
I would highly recommend a book called "The Handybook for Genealogists by
Everton Publishers. It gives the history of every county, county seat,
what
records they have available & where they are, & addresses to
write to for
records. It is the most used book in my collection.
Barbara
