Haven't posted to this list in quite awhile so here goes.
My 4th Great Grandfather, Adam BRUNER, Jr. died in Orange County, Indiana 8
April 1849. Some of his children like Alfred BRUNER who married Mary WILSON
stayed in Orange County and perhaps some others. Would there be a record of
his death anywhere in Orange County that someone could check for me?
Also looking for descendants of Samuel FRENCH and Julia Ann DOUGHERTY
(daughter of Robert DOUGHERTY, 2nd Senator for Kentucky, of Barren County,
Kentucky.
Samuel is on the tax lists for Northwest Township in about 1817. Entered
land in 1836. Old homestead was still standing a couple of years ago and I
have pictures and pictures of the headstones in cemetery by house.
Samuel and Julia were born "in Kentucky" per their children's census
records
but have been unable to find out where or the name of Samuel's parents.
Samuel had a brother named George Hedges FRENCH who is buried in the same
graveyard in Northwest Twp.
Any help with any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
