Amy,
I have a feeling that your Thomas is a different one from mine, although I have a sense
that they may be related at some level. My Thomas H., b. 1840, had all the brothers you
named, but I believe his father's name was Samuel. Some researchers that I know for
sure are looking at my family claim that Samuel's father was Toliver; however,
Thomas's obituary indicates that Samuel's father was also named Samuel so I'm
still looking for the source for Toliver Parks. It has been suggested that Toliver and
Samuel (Sr) may be one and the same - maybe Samuel Toliver or Toliver Samuel or something
like that.
My Thomas married Minerva Bailey in 1859, and they had Eliza Jane, Mary Ann, Sarah
Elizabeth, Samuel T., John W., and Ruth M. Minerva died in 1880, and Thomas married Ellen
Cox Gass. They had Christopher Wesley, Lona C., and Charles M. My grandfather was
Christopher Wesley, b. 1883.
Do any of these names mean anything to you? Stay in touch; maybe one of us will figure
this out.

Hi Mary,
I have since found out that William father was Thomas. And Thomas had four
other brothers: Andrew, Alexander, John, and Samual.
Thomas's father was Toliver and his mother was Ann Allen. That so far has
got me to the late 1700's :)
I hope that helps.
Amy

Hello,
My name is Amy Adolph. My grandfather was a Parks. We have lost all
history of his family, however, my cousin and I believe there is a
possiblity of our family came from Orange Co. Indiana. The person I
have traced back is a William Parks, we are not sure if he was married
to a Sarah or Mary Ann, but do know he had several children:
Rufus, David, Thomas, John, Sarah, and Emily.
If you have any information for us to continue our search, I would
great appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Amy Adolph (Grandaughter to a Parks)
Hi Amy,
I don't know who Williams Parks is. That's not to say that he is not
part of my line, but I've found it very difficult to find much info on
Parks. If there were any other information you could supply, it might help.
