Bill Hawk,
Try calling 1-812-723-3437 or e-mailing evjo(a)kiva.net. This older couple run
the Orange County Genealogical Society from they're home, about two blocks
off the square in Paoli. She is quite sharp and they have a ton of info.

Orange Co
My grandfather Isaac Benjamin Hawk (and family) were Quaker's,
first
living
on a farm somewhere near French Lick, then later living in French
Lick
itself. I have reason to believe his father may have been a Calvin Hawk
but
I find no record of a Calvin in Orange County or the counties
surrounding
Orange. I have made a lot of fruitless inquiries in search of historical
information on Quaker meeting houses in the area, all to no avail. I would
be most appreciative of any leads you can offer.
