Janice:
Do you see anything about the PERRY group who came to VA? I can't get
online..slowed down by the mob, trying to get on ahead of me ....
My earliest anc is Joseph Perry 1670 who bought BrookeManor from Thomas
Brooke.
I have copy of the Pr Geo MD will and sale...
We have only family legend about:
" William,(George), Henry, John Perry who came to VA about 1620. they
rec'd 100 acres of land on James River, down from Henrico."
My Joseph came from Prince GeorgeCo, MD and died at Brookfield hall, PGco
MD.
I don't know who is Joseph's parent:
a Capt William Perry d 6 Aug 1637 grandfather perhaps,...or something.
Don't know.
Would they have gone up to MD...? I read about the Berkeley Plantation _
Hundred, isn't it? but couldn't see connection.
Have you any suggestions for this line or how to see what children were
born, and to whom? Or anything for me to look for.
I am retired and live in FL and we don't have too much in local library
or Atlanta archives but the SouthEast info.
This is my maternal line.
My Orange Co, IN is "stuck" with ancestors arriving in Paoli and m.
1822
DAYHUFF, Daniel
" born in MD. I think he is from Carroll Co to Fredk Co, MD.
I have met lots of PA/MD Dayhuffs online, but not my direct lineage.
Poohey! Hugenots however....
I appreciate any help that you might be able to give me.
Thank you .
