Billy,
Check out one of my favorite sites:
www.findagrave.com
I did a search for Dixon in Indiana. There are a bunch of them including
some Johns and others in Orange Co.
I don't know when I will be back there, but I live in IL and would like to
get back this fall. If you find them I'll try to get some pics. You can also
"request a photo" if you find the individual's memorial on findagrave. You
might get some filled that way. I've had some volunteers immediately pick up
my requests and some that are never filled. It is a wonderful site though.
Here is a link to the Dixon/Indiana that I did.

Good luck and I'll post when I'm planning to get that way again.
Sue

Hi Sue,
If I had come on this site a couple of months ago, you could have
taken some pictures for me. Maybe I can watch for it on RFD-TV.
John W. Dixon's first wife was buried in Paoli, In. I haven't
found
her grave site online and as I live in Ca., I won't be there, any time
soon.
His second wife was a sister to Ruth Dishon. Elizabeth (Dishon) Dixson
lived
until about 1890 or so, I haven't found where she is buried in Jewell Co.
Ks.
In 1900, John W. Dixson-Dixon moved with a son to Norton Co. Norton, Ks.
and
he died in 1903. I'm related thou his son's daughter, who married my
Grandfather Billy
