Dale:
I am most interested in your reference to Elizabeth Ann Black 1781-1847.
She may be my gggg-gm. My gggg-gf was Lewis Allen who was said to have
married an Elizabeth Black. In 1790 he was in the US census in Duplin
County, NC. In 1800 it was Buncombe Co., NC. In 1809 he was in Wilson
County, TN and his son Jeremiah was born there in 1816. Lewis is cited
as a pioneer settler of Orange County, IN in 1815. Lewis remarried
Louiza Ann Wilson in Orange Co., IN in 1849.
Any info about Elizabeth Black is welcome. Who were her parents? Etc?
