Subject: Re: [INOHIO] North Landing, Ohio Co, IN
The only problem with a history of North Landing is where to start.
There
is
a lot of information available. As for Rising Sun, the search is
over.
It
was recently rediscovered by someone traveling from Aurora to the new
casino
at Belle Terre. Apparently, this historic little villiage has been
hidden
along the riverbank of the Ohio almost 200 years and no one noticed. It is
the home of the Shiners and the Ohio County Historical Society
(ohiocohist(a)seidata.com) and their museum.
I'll scan some information about the Norths and send it along later.
