Hi Walter:
I have the Ohio County Cemeteries - Revised Edition, and the Index to the
Ohio County Cemeteries Book with no date. Do you have the same two books
or do you have a date on yours? The reason why I'm asking is that I have
only one Gillis in mine and that is John. I'm wondering if I have an
earlier version than you have.

Subject: Re: [INOHIO] Cemetery Index for Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Rising Sun,
Ohio, Indiana
The only Gillis I find in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery listings, 2 different
ones, is John Gillis, died Oct 23, 1840, "51st year" and Celinca, wife of
John, died Feb 19, 1841, 49 years, 11 months and 26 days.
There is a comment that there were probably 20 graves where the stones had
been destroyed.

Where can I see an index for the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Ohio county,
Indiana?
I am looking for Thomas C. Gillis, born 1829,
