My Great-Great Grandmother was a Robbins. Rachel Robbins, daughter of
Thomas
Robbins and a Female Dennis, born in NY, 1810.She married Peter
(Barr) Bear April 28th, 1843 in Switzerland County, Indiana. Peter had 13
children when they
married and they had 2--Benson Bear, b.1844, and Pinkney Bear (my
Great
Grandfather), b.1845. Benson was killed in the second battle of
Murfreesboro, TN. Pinkney moved to
Illinois some time before 1871.
