Since you contacted me on
Rootsweb.Com I assume you are Living Mull married to Living
Lusky. I have an old church paper "The Hartford Methodist" Vol. 1, dated March
l, 1894. Following death record is listed: " Judith, daughter of Henry and Mary
Barricklow was born in Ohio Co., IN. 7 Oct 1840. She emigrated to Kansas in the year 1855
and was united in marriage to Abraham Peaslee, March 10, 1869, at Palmyra, Kansas. She
returned to Ohio Co., IN in 1874, where she has since resided. She was a member of the
M.E . Church------. She was the mother of three sons and two daughters, of who three sons
and one daughter survive her, and with the bereaved husband. She departed this life March
4, 1894, aged 53 years, 4 months and 27 days."
On the same page from Salem Church - "The funeral services of Mrs. Julia Peaslee were
conducted at this place March 6, Rev. Stewart officiating." She must have used both
names - Julia and Judith.
My family line is: Abraham Peaslee Sr. b. in Maine 1778 m. Massa (Mary) Pottle -
son Abraham Peaslee Jr. b. 1801, Maine m. Charlotte Fulton
son Ira Peasle b. 1836 IN m. Caroline Wilber
dau Matilda Peaslee m. John Paul Baker
dau Ida Mae Baker m. Frank Steer (my parents)
I do not know how Abraham Peaslee m. to Judith Barricklow fits into my line. Looks like
he must.
