I also have two Nieman/Neaman families I am researching in Rising Sun, Ohio Co., IN.
Since these are both collaterial lines, I haven't even checked to see if they have a
common thread. Are either of these names are part of your data base?
(1) John H. Neaman: b. 14 Jun 1832 - Hanover, m. Julia A. Dubber/Dibber - 8 Mar 1855
(Julia is the d/o Joh Hinr "Henry" Dubber and sister Henry F. Dubber/Dibber my
g-g-grandfather).
(2) David H. Neaman: b. abt 1876, s/o William Neaman and Lena Silman, he married Grace D.
Hayman -14 Jul 1898. ( Grace is my grandmother's sister)

Looking through old Ohio Co queries and found your Mar 2002 message. If you do not have
your answer already, I think I can help you. Florentine Maria NEAMAN was born 3/24/1865 in
Rising Sun and died 2/27/1915 in Cincinnati, OH. She was buried in Rising Sun. Her father
was Johann Friedrich NIEMAN/NEAMAN, born 3/13/1842 in Wetter/ Hannover, died 8/24/1921 in
Cincinnati. He too is buried in Rising Sun. I have the NIEMAN family back four generations
but nothing on Amelia BRESSERT other than her birth. Perhaps we can exchange our data.
(Incidentally, I have Amelia's father, Karl F. BRESSERT, as born 2/19/1858 in Ohio
County).
