Now, I know, My GG Grandparents and children lived in Ohio County, Rising Sun, IN before
they came to Daviess County, IN. They are listed in the 1860 Census in Daviess County.
So, I know for sure they lived in the area between 1838 up to at least, 1860. I can not
locate them prior to 1838. I have searched everything east of Missouri. I am not sure of
the time lines of these counties. They use to be part of each other at one time and part
of the State of Ohio. Also, the same thing for Kentucky. Was once part of Virginia and
West Virginia.
I know, John B. Scott died before 1880 probably in Daviess County with probable burial at
Mt. Zion/High Rock Cemetery. Mary Hannah-Scott is listed as Widow living with Son-in-law,
John Edwards and her daughter, Harriet Scott-Edwards in 1880 Daviess County, IN Census.

Two 1880 enumberations exist for the city of Saint Louis, Missouri. One was taken in June,
the other in November. The second enumberation is generally considered the more accurate,
however, searching both may be necessary. Both enumerations are included in the Soundex,
however, some cards may be missing.

My main goal is to find the Parents, Siblings, Cousins for my GG Grandparents. I am also
looking for any information on the family while they lived in these counties.
Any information, suggestions are welcome; no matter, how small. Anything would be
greatful. I have searched and searched for years. Your help would greatly be appreciated.
This has been a big brickwall for years.
Thank you
Debby Scott
