Locridge's mother may have died and James Wilson Lockridge remarried abt
1866. Perhaps this was your James E living with his grandmother in 1870.

The only thing close to it is William LOCKRIDGE, who married Mildred
DEWEESE
on 12/19/1844 (Book, Page 3). There are no other LOCKRIDGE's. There are
the
following other DEWEESE's: Elizabeth, married William ROSS on 2/3/1845
(Book
1, Page 5) and Nancy, married Isaac MILLER on 8/24/1845 (Book 1, Page 13).
Source is Marriage Records of Ohio County, Indiana, 1844-1899, which I
have
found to contain many typos. Good luck.
