My mother is Jean Marble McCray born and raised in Rising Sun Indiana.
Her gg grandparents on her fathers side, who lived in Ohio County Indiana, are as follows:
1. Nathan Marble (1803-1859) and Mary Myers (1811-1871)
2. Enoch Drake (1803 - 1889) and Sarah Huston (1811- )
3. Matthias Stopher ( 1813- 1904) and Sarah Ireland Gibson (1821-1894)
4. Edmund Loxely Young ( 1827-1899) and Elizabeth Mary Sparks Dolph (1827- )
I have lots more and would love to share and have help with these lines.
All of her gg grandparents on her mothers side are from Switzerland County so I am pretty much related to everyone in the area.

had a wife named Maggie, maiden name unknown, here's a list
of the people in his homestead:

Maggie Heyer 47
Harry G Heyer 23
Earnest Heyer 18
Mildred Heyer 15
Pauline Heyer 13 -- My grandmother on the Kittle side
Ethel Heyer 8 -- My Aunt Ethel Brown

No there are no rumblings of bringing back the Draft but by law we still have to maintain viable/functional Draft Boards. The 5-member Draft Board for which Ohio County has one position for is now vacant. A Draft Board Member is a voluntary non-compensated position. I am a Reserve Force Officer assigned to the Selective Service in Indiana's detachment. Ohio County needs to fill this vacancy for this important position. If interested in learning more about this please contact me and I'll fill you in on the qualification and duties/responsibilities both in peace time and if the Draft was reinstated.
Thank you!
Respectfully,
Major Jeff McClane
