I've "rescued" a group of three photographs which I believe all belong to
the ANTONIDES Family of New Jersey. The first is a photograph of Reba,
Nina, and Lyle ANTONIDES which was taken at the C. Scherholz Studio in
Newark, NJ. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with
the three children appearing to be infant to 4 years of age at the time.
The second photograph is identified only as "Dewitt Jr." and was taken at
the Eagle Gallery in Dover, NJ. This photograph appears to have been taken
in the 1880's or 1890's with the child about 1 year old at the time. The
third photograph is identified only as "Edna" and is of a girl about 4
years of age at the time the photograph was taken. This third photograph
was also taken at the same studio in Dover, NJ in the 1880's or 1890's.
Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information
regarding this ANTONIDES Family:
Annie M. SCHOFIELD (b. 1860 d.1904) married Joseph T. ANTONIDES (b. 12 Nov
1864 d.1934) and together they had 5 children including, Reba E.; Nina; Lyle
T.; Vincentius; and Everette ANTONIDES. Son Lyle T. ANTONIDES d. 1923 and
is buried with his parents in Manasquan, NJ. Nina ANTONIDES was b. 27 Mar
1892, she married William Melvin SWANK (b. 1887) and together they had a
daughter, Mary Beatrice SWANK. Nina ANTONIDES SWANK died Feb 1979 in
Kendallville, IN. Reba E. ANTONIDES b. 9 Jul 1890 in Monmouth Co. NJ
married John Henry DILMAN on 26 Jun 1918.
Census records provide the following information:

I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photographs can
be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family, or you know
someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
