OK, Judy, You asked for it!
My "Most Wanted" is the parents of my grandmother! Jennie B. Green,
b. 25 Sept 1870, OH, (where? I don't know) married Joseph Bradford
Weaver, b. 22 Sept 1868, Noble Co., IN.(son of
Joseph Weaver and Lucinda Bradford) on 1 Oct 1890 around or in
Ligonier, Noble, IN.
Jennie B. Green Weaver died in Amarillo, TX, 1946 and is buried in
Raton, Colfax, NM, beside Joseph Bradford Weaver.
The marriage records list Charles Green, b. 17 Jun 1817 and Sarah Ann
Lowe, b. 28 Dec 1832, as Jennie's parents, but that is all the
information I have been able to find in the past 2 years of searching.
The dob and on Charles and Sarah were given on the marriage record,
but no place of residence was given for them.
The only clues I have as to their possible origin is a photo of my
grandmother and mother(as a child) taken in front of the Brookside Zoo
in Cleveland, OH. My mother was about 13 years old and she was born
in 1909, so that would make it about 1922. They were with another
couple, a S. F. OWENS and wife Lillian OWENS, whether relatives or
not is questionable.
Any one recognize the names or dates?

Subject: MOST WANTED
Thank you, Jackie, I try to make the Noble Co. website a
"fun" place
to
visit (as well as informative!). Your post to the list was quite
timely;
I've been composing (in my head) a note to all - something to get
the ball
rolling: Something to get some activity going on this mailing list.
;)
I suggest we ALL submit our "Most Wanted" queries. Something to let
fellow
Noble Co. researchers know the surnames you're interested in.
What
are some
of the other families being researched in Noble Co.?
