THIS IS A HOAX! DO NOT delete that file - it is
a legitimate windows file. Please check out
Symantec or McAfee before forwarding virus
info to check if it is a hoax or not. If you deleted
that file, you have deleted a legitimate
Windows file.

Hello Everyone! We received the following
email from some friends and
did indeed find this virus on our computer and
deleted it. Since your
address was in our address book you could
also have it. PLEASE follow
the instructions immediately. Sorry!

Sorry to bother you with this but I had this virus
on my computer just
as the email indicated. Stop what you are
doing now and delete this
now. Sad commentary on society when some
people have nothing else to do
except waste time trying to vandalize others
anonymously.
I received an e mail message today. His
address book had been infected
by an e mail virus passed to his computer and
it was passed on to my
computer through an e mail I received from
him.
My address book, in turn, has been infected
AND AS A CONSEQUENCE YOUR
ADDRESS BOOK HAS BEEN INFECTED
BECAUSE YOUR ADDRESS IS IN MY
ADDRESS
BOOK!
The virus is called jdbgmgr.exe. It can not be
detected by Norton or
McAfee Anti-virus systems. The virus sits
quietly for 14 days before
damaging the system. It is sent automatically
by the messenger and by
the Address Book, whether or not you sent
emails to anyone in your
address book. I have checked, found it and
deleted it.
Here are the steps you have to take to get rid
of it:
1. Go to Start, Find or Search option
2. In the files/folder option, write the name--
jdbgmgr.exe--
3. Be sure you search your C:drive
4. Click "find"
5. The virus has a teddy bear icon with the
name jdbgmgr.exe--DO NOT,
REPEAT DO NOT OPEN IT!!!
6. Right click and delete it. It will then go to
the Recycle Bin.
7. Go to the Recycle Bin and delete it there as
well.
IF YOU FIND THE VIRUS, YOU SHOULD
CONTACT ALL OF THE PEOPLE IN YOUR
ADDRESS BOOK SO THEY CAN ERADICATE
IT FROM THEIR OWN ADDRESS BOOKS.
