Unfortunately, I know of no Hay family. However; the Cornell Studio in
Ligonier part of the message interested me. I know that is where my family
photos were taken-many were lost or destroyed-or unfortunately taken during
family feuds vs copy and sharing. Anyway does anyone know if any of the
negatives or plates exists from that studio?

Subject: [INNOBLE] HAY Family Photograph
I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as John HAY'S children which
was
taken at the Cornell Studio in Ligonier, Indiana. The photograph appears to
have been taken in the 1880's with the four children ranging in age from
about 4 years - teens. The oldest two are boys, then a girl, and the
youngest a boy as well. The second oldest is standing in the photograph and
a note on the back says "Sam standing" leading me to believe that he is Sam
HAY.
I'm hoping to locate someone from this HAY Family so that this wonderful old
treasure can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a
member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
