Hi Sandi,
Thank you for your reply.
My WRIGHT came from Adams Co., Ohio. The OGLE family is well documented on the Noble Co.
GenWeb site, in virtually all the button headings at the top of the pages. My Noble Co.
OGLEs can be found in all the US census from 1850-1880.
I have to give a huge THANKS to Carole, who conracted me off-list, and had found just the
right biographical information I was looking for.
I have actually finished the genealogical tracking of my OGLE family back to England and
1150 AD, with only a few loose ends. I am now collecting biographical or the family
history for the various generations. One of the Noble Co. OGLEs did go to Iowa, the rest
stayed in the area.
As I was tracing OGLE straight back in time, I did not run into any variants of the name.
I, of course, have run into many variations like Ogles, Oglethorpe, Oglesby, etc., but
only in the phone book.
Best,
RF

I've been pretty engrossed in everything Noble Co, for years and Wright is
common but I haven't seen anything on Ogle= have you come across any mutated
spellings of the last name? Let me know if you have not found Joseph in the
1850, 1860 census. Course I have also run into the issue of people going
into Indian territory where I lose track of them. What other leads do you
have- I'm actually trying to connect everyone on Noble county or those who
passed by long enough to be noticed in a record. Then looking at the
migration patterns out of Noble County-why anyone would leave is beyond me.

Subject: [INNOBLE] OGLE in Noble Co.
Hi,
Is anyone researching OGLE in Noble County?
I've explored the Noble Co. GenWeb site.
I am looking for additional information on the Joseph OGLE family who came
to Jefferson Twp. c1845. His wife was Ruthannah Wright, both born in Ohio.
They had 6 children.
Thanks,
rf
