My Mary WRIGHT, dau of Geo W. & Eliz (?) WRIGHT of Noble Co., married a
Charles F. OSBORN (also of Noble Co) & they went to Texas Co. MO. Mary's
mother, Eliz, died at their home in 1901 & Geo W. died at their son's home
in LaGrange Co. IN in 1898. These Osborns went on to Custer Co, MT with
their dau, Addie & her husband, Cary STEWART & all died there. Another
Osborn dau married a BEAN.
These particular Wright Bros, plus a sister, Margaret, who married a Thos B.
MILLER & lived her life in Hancock Co. IN were the children of Reuben & Anna
(Gilbert) Wright of VA & then Wayne Co. IN. Reuben was a M-E minister, as
was his son, James G. Wright, my 3rd gr grandfather.
In the 1910 Texas Co. (Ozark Twn) MO census, my 3rd gr grandmother, Lucinda
(MCCOMAS) WRIGHT is living with them as 92 yr old "Aunt-In-Law." Lucinda
was the widow of James Wright who was the brother to Geo W. Wright.
I am really trying hard to find the death date of Lucinda Wright, so I can
order a death cert & it's not on-line. Since she was 92, I'm assuming she
died there in Texas Co. MO. Also, looking for any other desc of this
Wright line which doesn't appear to be from the "Wright Bros" or the Quaker
group, although they were all at the same places in OH, IN, IL & some in MO
at the same times.
I have much more info & old photos to share. ANY clues appreciated.
Thank you,
Diane Ethridge

I've been pretty engrossed in everything Noble Co, for years and
Wright is
common but I haven't seen anything on Ogle= have you come across any
mutated
spellings of the last name? Let me know if you have not found Joseph in
the
1850, 1860 census. Course I have also run into the issue of people going
into Indian territory where I lose track of them. What other leads do you
have- I'm actually trying to connect everyone on Noble county or those who
passed by long enough to be noticed in a record. Then looking at the
migration patterns out of Noble County-why anyone would leave is beyond
me.

Hi,
Is anyone researching OGLE in Noble County?
I've explored the Noble Co. GenWeb site.
I am looking for additional information on the Joseph OGLE family who came
to Jefferson Twp. c1845. His wife was Ruthannah Wright, both born in Ohio.
They had 6 children.
Thanks,
rf
