I found Morgan County land records on microfilm at the ACPL when I went
there several years ago.

The next time you are in Fort Wayne, IN----PLEASE go to the Allen County
Public Library--Genealogy Section
it is SUPER!! The new library is excellent!! Open stacks, wireless through
the library, access to Ancestry, etc.
I attended the FGS conference in Ft Wayne last year---excellent genealogy
conference. The new library chairs
look very uncomfortable instead people would sit for hours. The Allen
County PL--Genealogy Library is considered
the 2nd largest genealogy library in the U.S. If you have the chance to
visit the Allen County PL---please eat lunch
at the Firehouse Restaurant located in the old Firehouse.

Bettye,
I live in California also so it is difficult for me. I do have daughter who
lives in Fort Wayne, IN. We go visit her every November but it is hard to
get to the library there with three darling granddaughters I don't get to
see a lot.

I live in California visited Morgan County 3 times looking for genealogy.
The Courthouse has old land records. Sometimes you can find someone in that
area that will research for you. I have never seen anything online for land
records in Morgan Co.

Can anyone tell me if there is a place one can find land and probate records
for Morgan County for the 1830 to 1880 ?
Thanks.
