Morgan County's records were largely microfilmed and are available at the
Morgan County Public Library in Martinsville. These records are also available
in the microfilm office, which I think is still located in the CourtHouse
basement, but the employee(s) will discourage your using those.
The library doesn't have a paid staff member in the genealogy department.
Jennifer McKinley, reference librarian, does look ups as time permits.
She's excellent but has very limited time. Morgan County History and
Genealogy Association also does some limited look-ups, cost reduced to members,
see the website if interested.
