I've been led to believe that there was a White Lick Monthly
Meeting
somewhere in Morgan County, Indiana. My wife has some kin (Hobson) that
lived there, perhaps buried there. Where is White Lick MM? or for that
matter, West Union MM? My wife had a number of Quaker ancestors that
started out in North Carolina and immigrated to Indiana.
There is a series of books containing abstracts from the records of Quaker
Monthly Meetings in Indiana. They are titled "The Abstracts of the Records
of the Society of Friends in Indiana", edited by Willard Heiss. There are 6
volumes + the index. Part V contains the White Lick Monthly Meeting. The
White Lick Monthly meeting was held near Mooresville, in Morgan County IN.
West Union MM was held near Monrovia, also in Morgan County. Records from
that meeting are in Volume 6.
I have a copy of volume 6 and there are Hobsons! Contact me at the address
below and I'll see what I can find for you.
