Hi Deb,
I think you mean Mt. Tabor, Bean Blossom twp, in Monroe Co instead of Morgan
Co. Bean Blossom twp boarders Baker twp, Morgan Co. The cemetery is very
near the boarder to Morgan Co.
The cemetery that you are talking about is Liberty Church Cemetery. There
are 33 Burton's buried there. I have my Cosners buried in that cemetery
also. I have a cemetery book for Liberty Church and the rest of Monroe Co.
Your Nancy is there passing on 11/3/1876 at 95 years
Your John is there 1784-3/6/1860 at 76 years
Your Joshiah/Joseph is there passing on 12/14/1839 at 89 years. Did not see
a potential wife for him there. I have info on him that he was born in
England moved to Philadelphia, PA then to VA then to KY and finally to
Morgan Co, IN. I have a bio on his grandson, Col. James E. Burton.
My great great grandfather, Andrew Jackson Cosner, is buried there. His
son, my great grandfather was Joseph Burton Cosner (1845-1918) buried in
Bloomington, IN. It seems to me that he was named after a relative of
yours. Your Burton's and my Cosner's must have been very close.
Have you any background on an association with the Cosner line? Also, I'd
like to learn more about your line which might help me on my line.
BTW, I visited this cemetery last summer and took a number of digital photos
including a few Burtons and the Liberty Church. I'll have to look up the
pics and see which I took.
Hope to hear from you.

Hi!
I am looking for someone who would be interested in taking a digital
picture or two in Mt. Tabor, Bean Blossom twp, Morgan County, Indiana. I am
interested in seeing the tombstone of John Burton(1784-1860) and his wife,
Nancy Agnes Wishard Burton(1782-1876).Also a tombstone of John's father,
Josiah Burton(no dates). I understand that there may be the original Burton
homestead built in 1817 still standing in Mt. Tabor. There also may be a
church on the property as well. I would be interested in photos of these as
well, if they are still there. I'm interested in any help or direction
anyone can give me.
THANKS!
Deb
