Probate Order books are available on microfilm from the Family History
Center. I do not know if the particular record you are wanting is
available. I just joined this list so missed your first posting. The first
item of filr 1468479 covers the period of May 1822 to Feb 1847. I do know
that that particular book series did have a lot of the time period missing.
However you won't know until you look.
If you need more information let me know and I will try to tell you what I
know about these.

David,
I too have been looking for the probate files for 1833. I was told they
burned in the Martinsville Courthouse fire sometime in the mide 1900's.
Since no one has replied I thought I might add that tidbit of info. I really
wish we could see those. I have been to the courthouse several times. Lately
it has been closed do to an overpowering and harmful fume which is now in
the process of being removed. I will be back down there this spring to
investigate again.
