Thank you so much for your reply. I'm actually replying for my
husband...because I've been helping him a little on his Lambert family
recently...taking a break from my own family lines! I know he would like
to communicate with you on the Lamberts. Nickleberry (also known as
"Berry") has been his brick wall, although I have a theory about the
generations prior to Nickleberry that I've been trying to prove for him.
I don't think my husband has much on Rebecca in his data base, although I
do think he knew she had married in Morgan County. If you would like to
correspond directly with Craig, please send him an email
(cbaker004(a)indy.rr.com) and I'm sure he would be happy to send you his
complete breakdown and/or files, and swap some info. There is probably
something in his database that might be helpful to you, and perhaps you
might have a few missing pieces that will help him. He hasn't yet been
able to track down many, if any, of the Lamberts except his own direct
line from Nickleberry. I know that he believes Nickleberry died in 1904,
probably in Waverly, Morgan County, but he can't rule out Marion County at
this time...we haven't yet found his burial location, only a very short
obit that didn't say where he was buried. Nickleberry's wife, Mary Jones
Lambert, died just a matter of a few days after Nickleberry. Likewise, he
has not found her burial location, although I am sure the!
y are together and may even share a stone. I know my husband would like
to find a photograph copy of Nickleberry as well if anybody would be so
lucky to have one of those!
Thanks again for your reply, and he'll look forward to hopefully
corresponding with you again on the Lambert family!
LaDonna
