Eric, I do not have that exact William in my Northern line, but I have a group of Northern's who descended from Samuel (b. 1800 KY) who resided in Morgan Co, Clay Township. I'm trying to piece them all together; any information we could trade would be huge! Please email me at trisha at ktmdesigns dot com if you're interested in sharing info.

I'm looking for any information on William Hale who moved to Morgan County from KY around 1828. I believe his wife's name was Annie. He had a son named Francis I. Hale who was born in KY in 1827. Thank you very much for your assistance.>>
I'm wondering if you had rcvd any responces that assisted you? I am part of this line. One of William & Nancy's sons was William A Hale (B. 22 Nov 1837 in Morgantown, Ind.) who married Elizabeth Ann Hopkins. One of their sons was Marion Edgar Hale. He was my grandfather. Marion Edgar's oldest daughter is my mother, Ema Belle Hale Rackley. Mom is 76, and remembers stories told to her by her father about her grandfather, William A. Hale and kinfolk. Love to hear from you so we could share/compair info.

I don't believe John Fowler, of Morgan County, is the FOWLER line you're looking for. It is definitely my family line, and they moved to Lyon County (Emporia), KS from Indiana in about 1857, being the first settlers there. This John FOWLER was born in 1799, had come from North Carolina and married Milly GLASS or GLES. It has taken us years to document all of this, and I know how difficult it is to try to trace a John Fowler! I visited Morgan County cemeteries last Fall and am sure it is our John FOWLER's family who was there. He and Milly are buried in the Fowler Cemetery east of Emporia. Good luck!

I am a descendant of Wm Gordon & Rhoda.
I have 3 CD's, marriage, birth & death of Indiana. There are no Gordons listed in any of them for Morgan County. If I remember, you can't find any of them after the 1880 census.
Does anyone know who some of them married, when they died & etc?
