I found a picture of the 1928 M-Ville HS basketball team and I believe I have an ancestor in the picture. To the left of John Wooden is a picture with the last name "Ellis" written underneath.
The picture is located on Wooden's website:

Does anyone know anything about this picture or the people in it? I think it may be one of my two great great uncles: David "Otis" Ellis or Robert Morton Ellis, but I can't be sure which - my guess is David.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... I've really run into some road bumps lately with the genealogy, and this has been a pleasant find; I'd just like to confirm it!

Do you know where your George W. Anderson lived previously and the names of his parents? I am searching for any Andersons who might be connected to my Elizabeth "Betsy" Anderson who married Matthias Hayward. They moved to Morgan Co., IN from the Morris/Sussex County area of NJ in the mid 1840's.

I'm sorry. I forgot to put pertinent info in my message. Amanda Tracy in 1880 lived in Morgan Co. with her mom(Margaret) & dad(George W.) Anderson. Amanda was 15 yrs. old, she also had a sister named America. There is a cousin's name in the book. The first readable date is 1883.
There is more.
