I am looking for a Terrissa L. Bradley, daughter of James and Sarah Summers Bradley. Born 21-nov-1855 in Bath Co. KY. Terrissa also lived in Indiana and was a housemaid in Schuylar Nebraska (1880). She had three daughters between 1880-1884 and then disappeared. The girls were raised by George A. Linn, we think her husband, but have no prove of that. Was wondering if my line could have any connection to yours. Thanks

Interested in hearing from anyone knowing about the HAASE family -- particularly interested in Homer Haase who married Blanche Sosbe and lived in Morgantown Indiana early 1900s. Thanks, Karen Zach, Montgomery County, Indiana GenWeb coordinator

I can get as far as the page with the button that says Legacy Links but when I click on it, I don't go anywhere except "page not found." Is it me? I notice that link says it goes to mooresvillelib.net instead of .org. Is it supposed to go there?

Oh, this was published a long time ago, but here is what was included in the article:
Dosha was probably born a Summers. There is a deed in Morgan County IN dated 16 July 1824 in which Enoch and Alicy Summers, Standford and Lucy Summers, James and Dorcas Lynn [but signed Dosha], Henry and Susannah Pense, Nathaniel and Winna Shields, and Joseph Summers, all of Morgan County sold 64 acres of land in Madison Twp to Thomas Beeler. The land was located at S 1/2 of NW, Sec 2, Twp 13N, R2E, bounded on the north by a line agreed upon by Enoch Summers and John Summers.
[Reference for above] Hoosier Journal of Ancestry, Vol. XII-1, page 49. “Morgan County Deed Record, 1822-1829”, #67, 16 July 1824. The 1830 census of Morgan Co. IN has several Summers families in the same community as Patrick and Mary. Enoch, Sanford, and Joseph were approximately the same age and thus may have been brothers.
This Summers line was not followed as we were working on the Linn family.
Marylou,
And I apologize for the brain cramp in not remembering to turn off the
firewall to allow data to display. After I did that, it worked fine. I am
specifically searching for records pertaining to Allen and Sarah Nicholson
Wheeler, Nathaniel and Sally Prewitt Wheeler, Simeon and Cinderella Dunn
Wheeler, and Peyton and Nancy (unknown) Wheeler. The four Wheeler's moved
from Garrard or Madison County in KY to Morgan County sometime between 1830
and 1840. I tried the names and they came up no record found. Anything you
come up with will be greatly appreciated. If you incur any cost while doing
any research, just let me know so I can reimburse you. Thanks again for all
your work
Gary W. Wheeler

It worked! Thank you! I'm sorry to have bothered you--the first and second selections were slightly isolated above the other options, and yes, I missed it. Duh! Again thanks.

I didn't find a "legacy links" option under "what we have". Did I just miss it?

My apologies to all of you. In my excitement over sharing the news of our library's online database source, I goofed up the URL. Here is the correct website address:
http://www.mooresvillelib.org
This is the main page for the Mooresville (Morgan Co.) Public Library. Select "What We Have" from the menu column on the left side of the page, then select "Legacy Links" to get into the obituaries.
And please email me if you need any help with names that aren't listed -- or anything else, like marriage, death, census records for this area.
Again, sorry for giving the wrong URL when I first wrote.
Marylou
