William Lee senior who is in the 1830 Census. Does he have a will???? Virginia Hoffman branchseeker(a)aol.com
Hi Morgan County Folks,
I am trying to figure out how to locate more information about a possible
ancestor.
The History of Morgan, Monroe, Brown Counties includes a note about a Henry
Riddle under the section of Morgan County, Harrison Township, The Bluffs or
Port Royal.
It reads, " (has a list of other many other names) and Henry Riddle were in
business early."
I understand that the town of Port Royal died out about 1840. Does anyone
have any suggestions on how I might find out what kind of business that Henry
Riddle was in?
I know nothing else about him but suspect he may be the same Henry Riddle
that move to St Joseph Co, IN.
Any help appreciated.

Yes, this is my John Rooker. He died in Howard County, Missouri. There was no Howard Rooker.
In regard to William Rooker, I believe he died in Morgan County, Indiana. Do you have any info on that death?
I also found a William Rooker who was transported from England in 1774 to America because he stole some items. This may be the same one. I have the court report if you are interested. I have not been able to find where he entered the US. Would appreciate any info you have on him. Sincerely, Ann
