BLIND TIGER CHARGE AGAINST A DRUGGIST
Charged with running a "blind tiger" at Harrodsburg, Edward Sylvester a
druggist of that town, who it is said is not a registered pharmacist, was
arrested yesterday afternoon by Sheriff James Browning and deputy Ira
Robinson and brought before Justice Robinson in this city where he gave bond
A search warrant for the place kept by Sylvester was filled [sic] by county
commission John C. Clay, of Harrodsburg.
When the officers arrived at the drug store they found a number of men
inside drinking liquor and they confiscated a wagon load of beer, whiskey,
handy [sic] and wine.
Sylvester will be tried by Justice Robinson next Monday at two o'clock.
