I would like to know if the the organization of Odd Fellows is still in existance. If so
I wonder if there are any records that were kept in the 1870's-80.
My great grandfather belong to that organization.

Albert T Junkins died yesterday afternoon at his residence on West Third Street.Mr.
Junkins has been a resident of Peru since infancy, and has always had the respect and
esteem of those who know him. For many years he has been a locomotive engineer in the
employ of the I.F. and C. Railway and it was in the discharge of his duties as engineer
that he contracted the diesease, consumption, that has brought him to an early grave. He
leaves a widow and five children to mourn the loss of a kind father. The funeral takes
place Sunday, at 2 o'clock, from the M.E. Church, the Rev. Brown and Whitford
offication and the services will be conducted by the order of Odd Fellows, of which
organization Mr. Junkins was a consistent member. A and I.O.O.F. lodge of neighboring
towns have been invited and are expected to be present . The Brotherhood of Locomotive
Engineers will also be in attendance.
