Mrs. Nettie Brunner, 60 years old, died in the Miami county infirmary Thursday at 6am
after being in failing health for some time.
The deceased was born in Wabash county on May 4, 1878, a daughter of the late William and
Clista Denning. She was a member of the Brethren church.
Surviving are four cousins, Mrs. Cora Brooks, of the Santa Fe hill, with whom the deceased
formerly made her home; Mrs. Charles E Baker, of Gilead; Mrs. Noah Hand, of Akron, and
Mrs. Etna Ambarr, of North Manchester.
Friends may view the remains at Hammond-Jackson funeral home, where funeral services will
be conducted Saturday at 10am with Rev. C R Oberlin officiating.

Mrs. Fred Koob, 386 East Third street today received word of the death of Mrs. Floy
Silverman Moody, former Peru resident, who died Wednesday evening at her home in Chicago
after a brief illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Moody who was about 60 years old, was the
daughter of the late Mrs. William Iliff.
Surviving are one brother, W Silverman of Chicago, and an aunt, Mrs. Clara Rathborn of
Chicago.
A short service will be conducted in Chicago Friday morning and the body will be brought
to the Hammond-Jackson funeral home Friday afternoon. Services will be held at the
funeral home Saturday with Rev. Tunmer, officiating, and burial will be in Mount Hope
cemetery.

Joyce Ann Winters, infant daughter of Paul and Ruth (Hilliard) Winters, died Wednesday
afternoon at 4:30o’clock in Dukes Memorial hospital. The child was born at the hospital
Wednesday morning at 8:30 o’clock.
The body was taken to the Wise and Grandstaff funeral home for burial preparation.
Interment was in Grant Memorial Park cemetery at Marion this afternoon with services at
the grave.
Mr. and Mrs. Winters are residents of Butler township.
