Jacob Klein who has been seriously ill was removed to the Woodlawn hospital at Rochester
Wednesday morning.
Miss Arleen Morris of near Disko is spending several weeks at the home of her sister, Mrs.
George Klein and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Orville Paul of Indianapolis spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Verl Paul.
Rev. and Mrs. F A Hall of Kokomo called at the Waite home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Huffman of Ann Harbor, Mich., spent Saturday night and Sunday at the
home of her parents, mr. and Mrs. Wm Shaffer.
Miss Gladys King and Kenneth Ege spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Telford Pearson at
Akron.
Mr. and Mrs. Perry Shaw made a business trip to Logansport Friday.
Mrs. Charles Young entertained the missionary society at her home Friday afternoon. There
were nine members and two visitors present.
Mrs. Roy Smith and son Bobby, of Markle, are spending this week with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. William Shaffer.
Mr. and Mrs. William Klein and family of Wakarusa called on Mrs. Jacob Klein Saturday
afternoon.
Mrs. William Klein remained for a several days’ visit.
Miss Gladys King has accepted a position in the W J Russell store.
