I am only transcribing these old articles but have no time or any intention right now to
double-check this information, I'm sorry...
Since this all came from the Tribune, if Betty wants copies of the articles, I would refer
her back to the library (Peru Public) where these are on microfilms as she knows.
Please give her my best and ask her for me how her singing is coming along. She was very
excited about this a couple of years ago.
I am no longer the FHC director so if she went to the FHC I missed her.
I'm afraid I have had other irons on the fire this past week but intend to continue
with the issues I have here. If she wants to come and get them when I'm done with
them, I'll be glad to let her have them but they are in bad shape.

Truck Driver Fined
George W Wilson, a truck driver for Swift & Company, was fined $25 and
costs
in city court Thursday afternoon for operating an overweight truck on road
218 South of here, the weight limit for which is three tons. The arrest was
made by State Officer Bodey.

Unlawful to Allow Dogs to Run in Woods
Delmar Gilmore, Miami County game warden, has issued a warning to persons
not to permit their dogs to run in the woods at this time. Citing the law
for the protection of coons and others animals, Mr. Gilmore said:
“It is unlawful for any person to hunt, shoot, kill, trap or capture or
possess any raccoon, opossum, skunk, mink or muskrat from the 16th day of
January to the 14th day of November.

Mrs. Jessie McKinstry is Granted Divorce
Mrs. Jessie McKinstry was granted a divorce from Richard T McKinstry by
Judge Phelps in Miami Circuit court Friday and her former name of Jessie
Grimes was restored.
In the divorce action of Mrs. Stella Pauline against Harry Pauline, the
court ordered him to pay $7 a week support and a temporary attorney fee of
$35. In the suit of Mrs. Albert Miller against Gabirel Miller, he was
ordered to pay $3 week support and a temporary fee of $35.
