Pat,
I believe that Shoemaker is a name that has been associated with the Miami
Tribe.
I don't know if it was years ago or if that would still be current.

My Shoemaker ancestors?resided in the Peru area.? As far as I know,
there
are no descendants there.? There is a Shoemaker Cemetery in the area where
my ancestors are buried.? Also, they married into the Tilden line.? I am
interested in exchanging information on these lines.
