Miss Mary Frances See of Peru and Russell McCoy of Lafayette were supper guests Wednesday
evening of Mr. and Mrs. Harry See and son. It was the Sees’ 33rd wedding anniversary.
Mrs. Rose Robbins spent Thursday with Mrs. Charles Waymire.
Mr. and Mrs. Gale Diver and son Robert of Fort Wayne were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs.
Katherine Waymire, Sherman Waymire and Mrs. Diver’s mother, Mrs. Belle Snyder, who went
home with her daughter for a week’s visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Rupple of Plymouth and Mrs. Luella Mills were guests Sunday of Mrs.
Mary Kinley and Mrs. Jerusha Brower.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry See and son had as their supper guests Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Yarian, daughter Aloha, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kindig and sons William and Robert.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Waymire were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hattery and son,
Charles Denver.
Mrs. Noah Lockwood and children spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Snyder, in
Mexico.
Mr. and Mrs. Carter Brown of Peru and Mrs. Luella Mills spent Sunday evening with Mr. and
Mrs. Ray Knauff.
Mr. and Mrs. J F Dewalt spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bowman.
Mr. and Mrs. Truman Kotterman were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Butt.
Miss June King of Indianapolis and Miss Mary Frances See of Peru spent the week-end with
Mr. and Mrs. Harry See.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fouts and two daughters and Mrs Charles Waymire spent Monday evening
with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Butt.
Mr. and Mrs. Marion Bowman and children spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Claude
Kindig.
Dale Butt of North Manchester College spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Warren Butt.
Mr. and Mrs. Darl Plotner of Peru called on Mr. and Mrs. Ross Robins Sunday afternoon.
Miss Dorothy Pottenger and Miss Ethel Vivian Robins spent Saturday in Peru.
The teachers of Union township schools and a few friends spent Friday evening at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. E P Lowery and son, William. A delicious favorite dish dinner was
enjoyed. The St. Patrick colors were used in decorations and favors. Interesting
contests were conducted and won by Mrs. Warren Butt and Ralph Sawyer. Those present were
Mr. and Mrs. C Brown, R J Jones, Miss Lois Royer, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Butt, Miss Dorothy
Jean Macy, Miss Ruby Brubaker, Miss Carrie Long, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sarver, Charles Friend
and daughters, Maxine and Rosa.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Working and baby son, Larry Deo, of Fort Wayne spent Thursday with
Mr. and Mrs. Deo Fouts.
A Senior class party was enjoyed at the home of Miss Roseleen Robins Thursdday evening.
Games and contents were enjoyed and prizes were won by Doyle Kinley and Mildred Bockover.
Those present were Ruby See, Maxine Longstreth, Mildred Bockover, Roseleen Robins, Wayne
Conner, Dan Webster, Gayleen Maus, Walter Ross, the class sponsor, E P Lowery, Mrs. EP
Lowery, Miss Charlotte Long, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Robins and family. Dainty refreshments were
served at a late hour.
Mrs. Harry See attended a tea at the home of Mrs. Glenn Griswold in Peru Friday
afternoon.
