Peru (22 March 1914)
Members of the Queen Esther Circle of the Baptist church were entertained by the teacher,
Mrs. H C Kept, on East Third Street. Miss Pauline Siegfred, of South Peru will be hostess
at the next meeting.
Plans are being completed for the minstrel show to be presented by the Elks logde at the
Wallace Theater April 15 and 16.
David McMullen returned to his home in Mishawaka this morning after a few days’ visit with
Mr. and Mrs. William Smuck.
Mr. and Mrs. H M Fisher of West Seventh street, have as their guests Mrs. Tilliver and
daughter Blanche, of Cleveland.
Miss Miriam Richter of East Fifth street, has arrived from Chicago where she is a student
of the Chicago Conservatory of Music for a two weeks’ visit with her parents on East Fifth
street.
Arthur Hare went to Frankfurt this morning.
Henry Myers, editor of the Macy Monitor, spent today in Peru.
