I will have one of my researchers look into this as soon as they can. I do
have to say that it may be a couple weeks as we seem to have a flu bug
plaguing our community, and it has hit some of us.
The cost will be $5.00 per half hour with a $10.00 minimum, but it rarely
goes over $20.00. There is also a $.25 cent charge for hard copies if you
need them.

Subject: [?? Probable Spam] [INMIAMI] Jesse Smith- Polly Felt
There is a dilemma with two Jesse Felts who married Polly Felt. No
firm
proof given.
Jesse Smith, son of Ezra and Phebe Walcott Smith
b. 25 Feb. 1784 Nelson, Cheshire New Hampshire
m. Polly Felt 12 Feb. 1806 Mass., NH or Jefferson Co., NY
This Jesse per Haddon's Biographies in Jefferson Co., NY resided in
Smithville, Jefferson Co. died in Peru, Indiana 7 Jan. 1867.
Jesse Smith, no parents known
b. 25 Feb. 1784 Cheshire, NH
m. Polly Felt
Descendants state that she was born in Ontario Co., NY. Parents unknown.
This couple resided in Ionia, Michigan. he died there 26 April 1853
These two families are very mixed up! It is proven that the Jesse Smith
who died 26 April 1853 whose wife was a Polly, died in Ionia, Michigan and
is the descendant's ancestor. Whether this Polly is a Felt could be
debatable. The living descendant is Charles Rose chuckrose(a)comcast.net
and he would welcome responses.
