Hello and Merry Christmas to Miami County researchers,
I thought I would take a moment to update you on the
website. We have a partial listing of Peru Mount Hope
Cemetery online

due to the work of several people. I especially want
to thank Regine Brindle. She is an awesome and very
busy lady. She has photographed several hundred
tombstones at Mount Hope and at Shrock cemetery. She
has been an awesome resource person and knows lots of
people around the Peru area who she has enlisted help
from.
Submissions are welcome for the cemetery pages.
Obituaries for people buried in cemeteries we have
online can be linked to the person's name. These can
be either scanned or transcribed and I prefer to have
the source and date cited if at all possible.
Today, I uploaded Shrock cemetery with approximately
600 photos.

Bowman cemetery went online this fall, also. Thanks
to Dion Reed.

Santa Fe Cemetery went online very recently, also.

Thanks to John Lamb for his reading of the stones done
last spring and for his patience with me for getting
it online. Thanks to Rebecca Miller for her part in
working on the html for that. I am hoping to add
photos to that data next spring.
Next on my list is adding photos by Richard Parrish to
Clymer South which was read by John Lamb. So, keep an
eye on that.
Also, on my busy schedule, because I also coordinate
Cass County INGenWeb is Galveston Cemetery. Many
folks from the area of southwest Miami county are
buried there. So if you have people from that area of
Miami County, be sure to visit Galveston Cemetery.

It has been a good productive year and many of you
have had a part in building the website. Thanks to
the contributors, large and small.
