I have a John Davidson/Davison, b abt 1810 who married Julia O'Brian, born
March 1, 1818, possibly in Vermont. Their daughter Lucy Ellen Davidson of
Miami County, born about 1840 married Abel L. Hurtt twice in Miami county.
John and Julia Davidson also had a son Albert, born abt 1842, died 1875.
Possibly other children as well. Lucy Ellen Davidson Hurtt divorced Hurtt
or he divorced her and then she married Walter Scott. After being widowed,
I can't trace her definitively, although she had a son Walter, named for her
late husband.

You mention Davison's, I too have been researching Davison's.
Mary Anna
Davison married Joshua Pilcher September 24, 1808 in Frederick Co., VA.
Their family were living in Grant Co. from the 1840's until present day.
