The missing obit is for Mrs Charles CONFER - Iva Esther SCHROLL, d 20 Mar 1955, daughter
of William Jefferson SCHROLL and Margaret Jane DIXON.
Infant RICHARDSON: Joseph Gayle RICHARDSON, infant son of Gayle and Nancy Pauline (GANO)
RICHARDSON, 324 E Canal, died at 9:10am Sunday at Dukes Hospital after a 3 weeks'
illness.
The baby was born in Logansport August 1 last year.
Surviving with the parents are a sister Susan Kay at home. The grandparents are Mr and
Mrs. Oscar RICHARDSON, Peru; Mrs Fred COOPER, Peru and Carl GANO, Logansport. The
great-grandparents are George R UNGER, Lucerne and Mrs William GANO, Logansport.
Funeral services will be from the Eikenberry Funeral Home at 2pm Tuesday with Elder
Farron Crook officiating. Burial will be in Mt Hope cemetery. Friends may call at the
funeral home.
Mrs William ARNOLD; Funeral services were held at 3pm Monday from the Amboy Friends
Church for Mrs Amanda L ARNOLD, 91, former prominent Amboy resident. The Rev Walter
McAdams, pastor, officiated and burial was at Park Lawn Cemetery, Amboy.
Mrs McAdams died at 10:30am Saturday at the Fairmount Nursing Home of a heart ailment.
She had been bedfast two weeks. She had lived in Amboy her entire lifetime until 4 years
ago when she went to the nursing home.
She was born in Amboy December 7, 1863, the daughter of George and Julia (CASE)
Larrison. She was married to William Arnold who died in 1934.
Mrs Arnold was a birthright member of the Amboy Friends church. Surviving are a
daughter Mrs. Alvin Hoggatt, Route 2, Fairmount, a son Glen Arnold of Windfield, Kansas, 2
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The service was in charge of the Lair Funeral
Home, Amboy.
Mrs William A. FARRAR: Mrs Eulalia FARRAR, 72, of 160 W 7th, died suddenly at 1:30pm
Sunday, while visiting at the home of her daughter Mrs George J LONG, of a heart attack.
She was born in Cass Co, June 1, 1881, the daughter of I W and Olive J (BAILEY) EURIT.
She was married in 1907 to William A FARRAR who died in 1940. Surviving are a daughter
Mrs LONG, Peru and a grand-daughter Joyce Ann LONG. A daughter Rosanna is deceased.
Mrs FARRAR had spent most of her lifetime in this city. She was employed at the Bryan
Mfg Co. She was a member of the Eastern Star at Macy and the First Methodist church in
Peru.
Funeral services will be from the Eikenberry Funeral Home at 2pm Wednesday, the Rev A C
Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, macy. Friends may call at
the Funeral home after 7:30pm Monday.
Mrs Bessie Bowman, 63, of 206 W 6th Street, died at Dukes Hospital at 3:30 am Monday .
She had been a patient at the hospital about a week and underwent surgery. Immediate
cause of death was coronary Thrombosis. She had spent most of her lifetime in Peru. She
was born in Wabash County 26 September 1891, the daughter of Reuben and Dora (Meyers)
Brindle. She was a member of the Peru Methodist Church, D of A, the WBA and Women of the
Moose. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Isabelle Pearce of Fulton and one half sister Mrs
Victor Robinson, Peru and 3 half brothers Virgil and Orville Brindle, Peru and Ed Graves
of Wabash. A daughter Mary preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2pm EST
Wednesday from the Ditmire Funeral Home, Fulton, the rev Franklin Arthur of dephi
officiating. Burial will be in Mt Hope cemetery, Peru. Friends may call at the Funeral
Home.
